We would like to continue to support this commitment in the years to come and have strengthened our partnership with the DFB as the ‘Official Insurance Partner of the German Football Association’.
This means that we will support both the men's and women's national teams and the U21 squad, the DFB Academy and the amateur football portal FUSSBALL.DE as a new partner.
The broad-based cooperation complements the existing partnership between ERGO and the DFB that has been in place since 2016, concerning the men's DFB Cup and the women's cup final. ERGO also continues as the title partner of the 'DFB-ePokal powered by ERGO', the world's only eFootball cup competition for amateur and professional gamers.

In 2020, we expanded our DFB Cup partnership to include the new, virtual version of the popular club competition. As the title partner of the ‘DFB-ePokal powered by ERGO’, which was held for the first time, we are there when the ePokal winner is played out on Germany's consoles.
